Giulia Fiscon

Giulia Fiscon is Assistant Professor (RTD-A) in Bioengineering (ING-INF/06) at the Department of Computer, Control and Management Engineering (DIAG) of Sapienza University of Rome. She holds a degree summa cum laude in Biomedical Engineering at Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome in 2012 and a PhD in Engineering in Computer Science with classification: excellent at DIAG of Sapienza University of Rome in 2016. From the end of 2015 to Sept 2020, she was a post-doctoral researcher in the bioinformatics and system biology group of the Institute for Systems Analysis and Computer Science “A. Ruberti” of National Research Council in Rome. From Sept 2020 to Sept 2021, she was a research collaborator at Foundation for Personalized Medicine (FMP) and from Sept 2021 to Nov 2021 she was a post-doctoral researcher at DIAG of Sapienza University of Rome. She is author of 43 international publications, cited about 765 times and her h-index is 17, according to Scopus database. Her research interests are in the area of biological complex system study. In particular, she works in the field of bioinformatics, computational biology, and network medicine.
