Dr. Suman Das

Dr. Suman Das, born on 14.12.83 at Durgapur city in West Bengal state of India. Graduated (MBBS) from Calcutta Medical College and attained the post graduate degree (MD) in Pediatric Medicine and thereafter the post doctoral degree (DM) in Neurology from Calcutta National Medical College. He is employed in the Medical Education Service of the West Bengal Government since 2013.  Current Hospital affiliations- Bangur Institute of Neurosciences, and Dr. B C Roy Post Graduate Institute of Pediatric Sciences, both at Kolkata, the state capital. Involved in the teaching programmes of post graduate and post doctoral students. Currently thesis guides for 2 postgraduate students. District level trainer for Facility based newborn care. Principal coordinator of Japanese encephalitis and covid-19 vaccination programmes at the affiliated institutions. Incharge of the Neurovascular Catheter laboratory and Pediatric Neurology clinic at affiliated hospital. Actively involved in Stroke Telemedicine programme of the state government. Author of 37 articles in indexed national and international journals. Speakers at many national conferences.
